The undersigned members of the association hereby demand that the board of directors hire legal counsel to restate the association's CC&Rs that were signed by the declarant on _____________________________________The association's CC&Rs do not reflect the current law because the Davis-Stirling Act, (which is the main body of HOA law) written in 1985, has been amended the first day of January every year after January 1, 1986. Consequently. our CC&Rs are obsolete and misleading. Board members, other members of the association, and prospective purchasers of homes in our HOA cannot rely on the current document.
